Anemos
Anemos is a designer swim & resort wear brand based in Los Angeles. The brand is a collaboration between Lauren Arapage, a former press officer with Stella McCartney and Joshua Shaub, former buying director at Moda Operandi. Our collections blend the laid-back ease of the West Coast (we both grew up in Southern California) with the edginess of New York cool (where we both built our fashion careers).
Anemos draws inspiration from the clean lines and aesthetic of ‘90s designer fashion. Many of the swimsuits were inspired by ready-to-wear of the ‘90s as well as elements of French lingerie. For High Summer 2020, the collection underscores Anemos’s aesthetic and its reverence for ’90s simplicity while combining it with the influence of 1970’s Sud de France and Southern California’s heritage of surf and skate style. We expanded our swim offering with nine additional silhouettes, as well as our resort wear offering with eight additional ready-to-wear styles.
